Backlight your Fabricated Letters with LEDs
Through the use of Low Voltage LEDs, Gemini's Fabricated Letters can be easily backlit to provide a rich halo effect. Order an LED package and you will receive the following:
- Removable can with lexan back mounting option
- Insides of can painted white for optimal reflectivity
- Installation of GE Tetra LEDs to inside of lexan back (choose from Red, White, Wm White, Green or Blue)
- Balancing and testing of LED lights to assure even lighting of letters
- Appropriate GE Transformers to power complete set
- Wire connections prepared for easy attachment to power supply lines
- All exposed terminal connections capped
- Power supply wire holes drilled in lexan backs
- Wiring instructions guidelines for Licensed Electrician
When ordering an LED package, your letters will be ready to hand over to a Licensed Electrical Contractor to complete the final wiring. As we are not installing these letters you will need a few additional supplies to finish your sign.
Not included in the LED package:
- Electrical wire and wire connectors to connect letters together
- Raceway (if required) and hardware for mounting letters to raceway
- Connections for 110V side of transformer
- UL Listing stickers for OUTSIDE of cans (if required)
Install your own LEDs in Fabricated Letters
Many customers choose to install LEDs themselves in our Fabricated Letters. We recommend the following options if you plan to install your own LEDs.
- Order a Removable Can / Lexan Back Mounting
- Ask to have the inside of the cans painted white (additional 10%)
